Comic 11: That Explains That.
Honestly, no one ever dies in the Classic series. Remember that elevator Bass blew up in the opening to MM8? Empty. In Megaman X5, the space colony Eurasia slams into Earth and the game explicitly states that MILLIONS of people were killed and millions more hurt from the dust and debris. The comic above contains my only theory on this discrepancy.
